Logistics Manager (Remote)

About the role

Jiga is building a platform that connects engineers with vetted manufacturers and runs the entire supply chain for them. We are looking for a Logistics Manager who will own the physical movement of every part we handle, from factories in Asia to labs in the US and Europe, while treating each shipping decision as a commercial one.

Key responsibilities

• Own international freight across air, ocean and courier, primarily from China, Vietnam and India to Israel, the US and the EU.
• Quote, negotiate and book shipments with global freight providers, selecting the optimal mode for each business requirement.
• Manage freight‑cost recovery from buyers and resolve surcharge disputes with forwarders.
• Lead customs and trade‑compliance end‑to‑end, including HTS classification, exclusion claims, CBP Form 28 responses and IOR logic.
• Participate in commercial negotiations, advising on landed cost, Incoterms and customer‑side IOR requirements.
• Build and maintain freight‑cost intelligence by lane and supplier.
• Coordinate daily with manufacturing partners on shipment readiness, packing, documentation and pickup windows.
• Maintain Jiga’s platform as the single source of truth for shipment status, documentation and cost.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on international logistics or freight‑forwarding experience.
• Proven track record negotiating freight rates with forwarders and couriers.
• Deep familiarity with international trade documentation such as HTS codes, commercial invoices, packing lists, IORs and bonds.
• Commercial mindset focused on landed cost, Incoterms, margin and customer experience.
• Fluent in English; additional languages (Hebrew, Mandarin, Vietnamese, German) are a plus.
