Mobile Application Developer (iOS/Android)

About the role

We are seeking a Mid‑Level to Senior Mobile Engineer to join our Lima‑based team. The role focuses on building and enhancing a production mobile application that leverages advanced camera, computer‑vision, and augmented‑reality features. Candidates must be based in Lima and work on‑site at our Santiago de Surco office.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native iOS and/or Android features.
• Implement camera capture, media processing, and real‑time interactions.
• Integrate mobile apps with REST APIs and manage local persistence.
• Collaborate with backend, product, and design teams to deliver high‑quality releases.
• Improve performance, reliability, testability, and maintainability of the codebase.
• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and own features from conception to production.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional mobile development experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one native platform (iOS Swift/SwiftUI or Android Kotlin/Jetpack Compose).
• Intermediate or advanced English communication skills.
• Experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture, or similar patterns.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, REST API consumption, and error handling.

Required skills

• iOS: Swift, SwiftUI, AVFoundation, ARKit, RealityKit, Core ML, Vision.
• Android: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, CameraX, ARCore.
• Computer‑vision and on‑device ML frameworks (TensorFlow Lite, LiteRT, OpenCV).
• Camera or real‑time media processing.
• Local persistence (e.g., SQLite, Room, CoreData).
• Automated testing and mobile CI/CD pipelines.
• Kotlin Multiplatform (nice to have).
