Operations Associate Specialist (Freelance)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Operations Associate Specialist to support our client’s loan servicing operations on a freelance basis. The role involves validating data, reviewing documentation, and coordinating with loan servicers to ensure smooth and compliant processes.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and enter employee loan information, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Review participant and employer documents for operational standards.
• Monitor the operations inbox, respond to inquiries, and escalate issues.
• Communicate with student loan servicers and financial institutions to resolve discrepancies and confirm payments.
• Support monthly invoicing, reconciling data for accurate billing.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Client Services and Product to improve processes.
• Maintain high‑quality standards and follow established workflows.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in operations, preferably within financial services.
• Familiarity with Zendesk or similar ticketing systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
