People Manager

About the role

The key purpose of this role is to shape and drive the SAB people agenda across regional teams. The People Manager will coach line management, implement the people cycle, and ensure delivery of all core HR processes while supporting business priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with local leadership to lead, manage and support teams in delivering business priorities.
• Embed the People Cycle and excellence programme in the region.
• Manage talent processes, recruitment, onboarding and talent data analysis for planning.
• Ensure compliance with legislative diversity requirements and support line managers on diversity agenda.
• Oversee annual target setting, learning needs assessment and L&D planning.
• Handle individual reward matters, industrial relations policies and employee relations issues.
• Review employee engagement survey feedback and develop engagement improvement plans.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of HR Generalist experience, including at least 3 years in a management role.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Industrial Psychology or related field.
• Strong knowledge of local labour legislation and labour relations.
• Experience in FMCG preferred.
• Proven ability to build relationships with senior business leaders and influence culture.
• Track record of delivering strategic HR solutions and managing the end‑to‑end employee life cycle.
