Plant Performance & Projects Lead

About the role

Ferrero is seeking a Plant Performance & Projects Lead for its Hazelnut Company in Chile. The role focuses on driving plant performance improvements through the Ferrero Operational Excellence Program and Smart Factory initiatives, while collaborating closely with plant managers and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a change agent to roll out Ferrero Operational Excellence, fostering a Lean manufacturing culture.
• Define and execute Operational Excellence initiatives and training plans with plant stakeholders.
• Coach teams using a train‑the‑trainer approach to build ownership and capability.
• Monitor, consolidate, and report progress on Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Lead deployment of Smart Factory initiatives and ensure effective local execution.
• Track performance against strategic and operational objectives.
• Support the Plant Master Plan by consolidating departmental inputs and monitoring execution.
• Lead plant budget planning, coordinate monthly financial closure, and follow‑up.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and project management within industrial environments.
• Strong communication skills with fluency in Spanish and English.
