Principal Frontend Engineer

About the role

Xe is rebuilding the platform layer behind cross‑border payments for corporate and consumer clients. We are looking for a Principal Frontend Engineer to shape the user‑facing side of our products, mentor the team, and drive technical direction.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high‑quality frontend applications using Vue 3+ and TypeScript.
• Architect scalable, clean‑code solutions and enforce best‑practice standards.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor developers on architecture and clean coding.
• Create responsive, accessible UI with Tailwind CSS, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests using Vitest.
• Work with modern build tools such as Vite, Rollup, or Webpack.
• Collaborate with designers, product owners, and engineers in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Leverage AI coding assistants like Claude Code or Copilot to improve productivity.

Required profile

• 5+ years of production software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Vue 3+ (or comparable experience in React/Angular with willingness to switch).
• Deep knowledge of TypeScript, clean‑code principles, and frontend architecture.
• Proven experience mentoring developers and conducting code reviews.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
