Project Management Assistant

About the role

Murex is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Management Assistant to support the delivery of complex client projects and managed services. The role bridges project management, operations, governance, financial oversight, and portfolio reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning, execution, and governance of projects and managed service engagements, ensuring deliverables meet time, scope, and quality standards.
• Coordinate project reviews, status reporting, risk management, and executive reporting activities.
• Monitor project health, track risks, issues, dependencies, and facilitate stakeholder updates.
• Act as a governance and quality control focal point, promoting delivery methodologies and operational standards.
• Track budgets, forecasts, expenses, and prepare financial reports and dashboards.
• Manage project and operational KPIs, backlog health, and build dashboards for decision‑making.
• Support portfolio governance, business reviews, and prepare executive summaries and presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, project management, engineering, information systems or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in PMO, project operations, coordination, governance or delivery management.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, governance frameworks and operational processes.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow.
