Project Manager I

About the role

Fluor is seeking a Project Manager I to support the delivery of low‑risk services projects or a segment of larger contracts for U.S. government agencies. The role will help establish an execution framework that meets contractual obligations while ensuring safety, quality, timeliness and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Review the Fluor prime contract and any relevant sub‑contracts to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate on preparation of execution documents in line with Fluor’s Operating System Requirements (OSR) and Operating System Implementation Plan (OSIP).
• Support the Project Director in emphasizing Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) standards throughout all project phases.
• Report on baseline‑centric execution, safety, quality and productivity status to the Project Director.
• Prepare draft project baseline documents for approval and ensure they are fully documented, updated and communicated to the project team.
• Coordinate design, procurement and construction activities as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Accredited four‑year degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience (minimum 11 years total).
• At least seven years of relevant work experience in project management or related disciplines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, clients, vendors, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Knowledge of applicable local, state/provincial regulations and standards.
