Project Manager

About the role

RelyEZ Energy Storage is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in Chile that are currently in the execution and commissioning phase. The role will guide projects from construction through integration, commissioning and commercial operation while providing technical support to the sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of assigned BESS projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, quality and HSE.
• Coordinate internal engineering, logistics and headquarters teams with EPCs, contractors and on‑site clients.
• Oversee commissioning and energisation activities, including FAT/SAT, performance testing and grid connection with the Coordinador Eléctrico Nacional (CEN).
• Support the Sales team with technical proposals, site assessments and customer relationship management.
• Provide market and regulatory intelligence on the Chilean storage environment (CEN/CNE/SEC, capacity payments, arbitrage).

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in BESS, solar or utility‑scale energy projects (more experience considered).
• Hands‑on experience taking projects through construction and commissioning to commercial operation.
• Solid knowledge of the Chilean energy and BESS market and its grid‑connection environment.
• Strong technical understanding of BESS electrical balance‑of‑plant (PCS, transformers, MV/HV, EMS/SCADA).
• Fluent Spanish and professional English; willingness to travel to project sites, including northern Chile.
• Degree in Electrical, Energy, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
