Project Supplier Quality Representative

About the role

The Project Supplier Quality Representative will act as the primary liaison between Bechtel and its suppliers on a medium‑sized mining and metals project. The role ensures that supplier‑provided equipment and materials meet all technical and quality requirements, supporting the delivery of critical minerals for clean‑energy technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Represent Bechtel as the prime contact for supplier quality matters.
• Plan, prepare and administer Quality Surveillance Assignments (QSAs), source surveillance, surveys and audits.
• Coordinate supplier quality services with project functions and manage supplier notifications.
• Review, accept and distribute Quality Supplier Reports (QSRs) in line with project procedures.
• Report directly to the Project Supplier Quality Supervisor and the project supply‑chain manager.
• Manage the supplier quality budget for the project efficiently.
• Supervise supplier quality personnel and conduct hands‑on inspections to verify supplier inspection efficacy.

Required profile

• Experience in supplier quality management on construction or engineering projects.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate across multiple project teams.
• Strong analytical skills for monitoring and reporting quality metrics.
• Proven capability to manage budgets and supervise personnel.
