Public Relations Manager – South America

About the role

CATL Chile, the Chilean subsidiary of a global leader in EV and energy‑storage batteries, is seeking a Public Relations Manager to shape and execute its communications strategy across South America.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement communications and branding strategies for CATL in South America.
• Prepare press releases, statements, Q&A documents, and executive speeches.
• Manage relationships with local media and key opinion leaders, and explore new branding opportunities.
• Plan and organise communication activities for trade fairs, events, exhibitions and conferences.
• Review and polish all English external materials, including press releases, social media content and executive speeches.
• Support headquarters PR initiatives and coordinate with overseas subsidiaries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in communications, marketing, journalism or a related field.
• At least three years of experience as a journalist in top‑tier global media outlets; automotive or battery industry knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent written English; native‑speaker level.
• Strong understanding of Chinese language and culture.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure, and thrive in a multicultural environment.
