Python Developer – Remote (AWS, FastAPI)

About the role

BairesDev is seeking an experienced Python Developer to design, build, and operate backend services and data‑processing systems on AWS. The role is fully remote and offers end‑to‑end ownership of microservices and asynchronous pipelines that power core product functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Build and maintain asynchronous and batch processing systems with AWS services such as SQS, Lambda, and ECS.
• Write and optimise complex SQL queries for MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
• Deploy, operate, and monitor services in AWS environments.
• Debug and resolve production issues, improving reliability, performance, and observability of distributed systems.

Required profile

• 5+ years of production backend experience with Python.
• Strong expertise in FastAPI.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS and event‑driven architectures.
• Proven ability to build distributed, asynchronous processing systems.
• Advanced SQL skills, including MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Pytest for unit and integration testing.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
