Quality Control Excellence Manager

About the role

Join Grünenthal’s international Manufacturing & Global Operations team as a Quality Control Excellence Manager. You will drive governance, continuous improvement and compliance across the QC organization, ensuring our medicines meet the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the governance of Quality Control initiatives and manage the project portfolio.
• Execute projects that generate impact within the QC organization.
• Guide implementation of Global Operations Business System standards for analytical processes.
• Monitor and evaluate QC Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Support the use of LEAN tools for analytical problem‑solving.
• Assist in GMP compliance and OPEX improvement actions.
• Provide functional support to the QC area as needed.
• Oversee occupational health, safety and environmental practices and maintain EHS documentation.
• Lead investigations of workplace and environmental incidents.
• Analyze non‑conformities, define corrective actions and ensure alignment with legal and internal standards.
• Enforce ALCOA+ principles and GMP/GxP requirements in all QC activities.
• Report deviations through the Quality Management System.
• Manage and develop the QC team, delivering performance management, coaching and fostering a great workplace culture.

Required profile

• Advanced English (C1) proficiency.
• At least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a QC leadership role.
• Proven project‑management experience.
• Excellent communication skills with peers and senior directors.
• Experience leading operational‑excellence initiatives in quality‑control environments (desired).
