React Native Developer – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

Bluelight is seeking an experienced React Native Developer to join its fast‑growing, fully remote team serving clients across the United States and Latin America. You will work on high‑impact mobile projects, turning UI/UX designs into polished iOS and Android applications while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize mobile applications using React Native.
• Translate UI/UX designs into clean, reusable code.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third‑party libraries.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of the apps.
• Identify and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and memory leaks.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold coding standards.
• Collaborate with designers, product owners, and other engineers throughout the development lifecycle.
• Stay current with mobile development trends and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in React Native development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of React hooks and state‑management solutions such as Redux or Context API.
• Experience with iOS and Android build processes, including Expo/EAS.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Proficient with Git version control.
