Sales Support Trainee – Rotational Development Role

About the role

The Sales Support Trainee is an entry‑level development position that provides structured training across Rotork's Inside Sales, Contracts and Service functions. Reporting to the Inside Sales & Contracts Supervisor, the role offers exposure to quotation, order management, contract administration and service coordination while building technical and commercial expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Support actuator and valve sizing, order processing and project milestone monitoring.
• Assist in reviewing RFQs, technical specifications, purchase orders and service requests.
• Prepare commercial proposals, service quotations and technical‑commercial documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of opportunities, quotations, orders, contracts and service activities in company systems.
• Coordinate with customers, sales teams, service personnel and factories to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives across the Inside Sales, Contracts and Service departments.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional with a degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong willingness to learn, adapt to different business functions and work in cross‑functional teams.
• Professional, customer‑focused attitude with good time‑management and organizational skills.
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving capabilities.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of electrical, electronic and mechanical systems.
• Experience with actuator and valve sizing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
