Salesforce Solutions Architect

About the role

Marcus Thomas is seeking a Solutions Architect with deep expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement to lead consulting engagements for its clients. The role combines technical design, client training, and project delivery within a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct design, discovery, and technical walkthroughs with assigned clients.
• Develop and deliver custom training sessions where applicable.
• Lead project delivery in partnership with Project and Account Managers, ensuring scope, timelines, and client expectations are met.
• Provide solution and strategy direction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare technical and functional documentation and estimate effort for high‑impact tasks.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies during design and development.
• Collaborate with Technical Architects to align implementation with business design.
• Support troubleshooting of complex defects and production issues.
• Participate in pre‑sales activities by offering feasibility, architecture input, and scoping support.
• Mentor solutions specialists and promote continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Extensive experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement.
• General knowledge of Data 360 and CRM concepts.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Agentforce, and Service Cloud is a plus.
• Proven ability to create detailed requirements and functional specifications.
• Experience working with project‑management methodologies such as Lean, Agile, or Waterfall.
