Senior Android Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join Sovos’ global engineering team. In this role you will design, build and maintain high‑quality Android applications that help our customers meet complex tax‑compliance requirements while delivering a seamless user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative Scrum team environment.
• Lead the end‑to‑end development, testing and deployment of complex Android software solutions.
• Champion code quality through peer reviews, automated testing and continuous integration practices.
• Produce technical design documentation, release notes and bug‑fix records.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects and other engineering teams to align on technical decisions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues and bugs within the Android codebase.

• Proven experience delivering Android applications at scale.
