Senior Android Developer – Payments

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join our payments team. You will be involved in the full software development life‑cycle, delivering high‑quality mobile solutions that meet strict security and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications for payment processing.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure robust, secure code.
• Participate in client‑facing meetings, vendor discussions, and joint‑venture workshops to define solution approaches.
• Support leadership in defining and enforcing application standards, including PCI security compliance.
• Estimate effort, track billable hours, and provide guidance to junior engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in software development, preferably 6+ years for senior‑level candidates.
• Strong background in both front‑end and back‑end development, with experience in multiple modern programming languages.
• Hands‑on experience with APIs, external services, relational and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of PCI security standards and best practices.
