Senior Cost Accounting Analyst

About the role

The Senior Cost Accounting Analyst leads cost and inventory accounting, ensures accurate financial reporting, and supports strategic decision‑making for manufacturing operations. This position is based onsite in Santiago and reports to the Manager of Cost Accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cost accounting, inventory valuation, standard costing, and related internal controls while ensuring GAAP and SOX compliance.
• Manage month‑end close, analyze COGP, COGS, inventory, and manufacturing variances, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Drive forecasting, budgeting, KPI reporting, and business analysis to improve operational and financial performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements, strengthen financial systems, and coach finance staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (advanced degree or CPA preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong analytical abilities, intellectual curiosity, and results‑oriented mindset.
• Experience presenting to senior executives and leading a finance team.

Required skills

• Oracle/EDW database/ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel and Access proficiency.
• MS Office suite (Word, Outlook, Explorer).
