Senior Elixir Engineer - Remote Work

About the role

As a Senior Elixir Engineer you will design and build real‑time, high‑concurrency backend services using Elixir and the Phoenix framework. You will work remotely with a global team of top‑tier engineers to deliver scalable solutions for high‑traffic applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop robust backend services and APIs with Elixir, Phoenix, and Ecto.
• Implement real‑time features using LiveView, GenServers, and OTP patterns.
• Architect and optimise PostgreSQL schemas and complex queries.
• Ensure system reliability through Erlang/OTP supervision trees.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate product requirements into clean code.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to uphold engineering standards.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, specifically with Elixir and Phoenix.
• Proven expertise in building concurrent backends using OTP and GenServers.
• Deep understanding of functional programming principles.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
