Senior People & Payroll Operations Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior People & Payroll Operations Specialist to lead payroll administration and HRIS management for a fast‑growing, global organization. The role combines end‑to‑end payroll processing, employee lifecycle support, and data‑driven insights to ensure accuracy, compliance, and an excellent employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise full‑cycle payroll processing for Chile, USA, and Canada, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and on‑time delivery.
• Provide backup payroll coverage to maintain continuity when primary resources are unavailable.
• Administer day‑to‑day HiBob HRIS tasks, conduct data quality audits, and design workflow enhancements.
• Support audit readiness and respond to internal and external audit requests with timely documentation.
• Own the onboarding journey, manage leave of absence requests, and act as tier‑2 escalation point for People Operations cases.
• Administer global benefits programs, run reconciliations, and lead total‑rewards communications.
• Develop and maintain People metrics dashboards and data models to deliver strategic insights.

Required profile

• 5+ years progressive experience in payroll and people operations, with at least 2 years at a senior level in a fast‑growing, global company.
• Hands‑on experience with Chilean, US, and Canadian payroll; UK experience is a plus.
• Proven track record managing financial and payroll audits and ensuring general‑ledger reconciliation.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate HRIS data into actionable business insights.
