Senior Project Manager – Managed Services

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead capacity and resource allocation for our Managed Services squads. The role supports the Director of Managed Services and partners with a London‑based Senior PM to ensure seamless delivery for our client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Track capacity, utilisation and workload balance across squads, providing forward‑looking forecasts.
• Monitor hours consumption against retainer allocations, flagging discrepancies and escalations.
• Identify delivery risks (timeline slippage, bottlenecks, scope creep) and coordinate mitigation with squad and tech leads.
• Manage squad delivery processes: maintain backlogs, track sprint progress, coordinate ceremonies (planning, retrospectives, demos).
• Partner with the London Senior PM to align client commitments with internal capacity.
• Support operational reporting on utilisation, team health and portfolio status.
• Maintain documentation hygiene in Jira, Notion, Tempo and ensure data reliability.
• Contribute to process, template and tooling improvements as the practice scales.
• Coordinate onboarding logistics for new clients and squad members.

Required profile

• 4–6+ years of experience in project, delivery or operations management within a digital agency, consultancy or software delivery environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with strong attention to detail.
• Hands‑on experience in resource or capacity management and operational reporting.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience running sprint ceremonies.
