Senior QA Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead test strategy and automation across our digital solutions. The role combines hands‑on testing, framework development, and early collaboration with product teams to ensure high‑quality, accessible, and performant experiences for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve test strategies from early development phases, aligning with business goals.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Cypress and Playwright.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and developers to shift testing left and prevent defects.
• Lead execution of automated and manual testing, manage defect lifecycle, and mentor team members.
• Perform comprehensive API testing, both manual and automated.
• Validate accessibility compliance with WCAG 2.2 AA standards.
• Conduct performance and load testing, analyze results, and recommend improvements.
• Test CMS‑driven content on platforms such as Contentful and ContentStack.
• Review designs in Figma to ensure implementation matches design intent.
• Explore AI‑driven testing tools and modern QA practices to improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in quality assurance and test automation.
• Strong understanding of test‑driven development and CI/CD concepts.
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior engineers.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
