Senior Software Developer – Java, Spring Boot, React

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join a collaborative, value‑driven team. You will design and deliver large‑scale distributed systems while mentoring junior consultants and championing best engineering practices.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, reusable code using TDD, pair programming and design patterns.
• Advocate and implement continuous delivery to release high‑quality software early.
• Build micro‑service architectures and integrate features, prototypes and UX specifications.
• Apply latest technology insights from our Technology Radar to solve client problems.
• Utilize DevSecOps tools, promote a DevOps culture and shift security left.
• Oversee the full software consulting lifecycle from ideation to deployment.
• Mentor less‑experienced peers through technical guidance and leadership.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with deep technical knowledge and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Proactive in assessing team health, code quality and non‑functional requirements.
• Effective communicator who balances strong opinions with openness to the best solution.

Required skills

• Extensive experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Proven frontend expertise in React.
• Hands‑on experience deploying and managing applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI solution integration.
• Strong API design and integration skills.
• Solid Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP) background.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (XP, Scrum, Kanban).
• Knowledge of Test‑Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
• Bonus: experience with AWS, Azure, Kubernetes and Docker.
