Senior Software Engineer – AI Code Ranking

About the role

We are seeking senior software engineers to help shape the next generation of AI that writes code. In this fully remote, flexible contract position, you will evaluate and rank AI‑generated code solutions, providing the training signal that teaches AI systems to produce higher‑quality software.

Key responsibilities

• Compare pairs of AI‑generated code and rank them based on correctness, efficiency, readability, and best practices.
• Verify functional accuracy across standard and edge cases.
• Identify bugs, logic errors, security issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Write clear, structured justifications for each ranking decision.
• Work across multiple programming languages and problem domains, from algorithms to system design.
• Complete task‑based assignments independently on your own schedule.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficient in at least two of: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C++, Go, or Rust.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and computational complexity.
• Extensive code‑review experience with the ability to articulate quality differences.
• Deep knowledge of clean code, design patterns, testing, and performance optimization.
• Excellent written communication and self‑motivation for independent work.
