Setroute Coordinator – Construction Automation

About the role

The Setroute Coordinator will lead construction automation initiatives for the Ujina Growth Project, a high‑altitude mining expansion in the Tarapacá Region of Chile. You will manage the portfolio of automation applications on‑site, ensure data integrity, and support the engineering team in delivering the project's throughput targets.

Key responsibilities

• Revise and integrate electrical, control, and instrumentation plans from Bechtel and third‑party designers.
• Update circuit listings and routing of load channels and cables as new designs are released.
• Issue and control setRoute cards, assign reels to construction crews, and manage change‑control documentation.
• Maintain the construction automation database, develop scripts or programs to streamline data handling, and support 3D modeling tools.
• Review performance of automation solutions and recommend adjustments to meet project strategy and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field (or international equivalent).
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in construction automation, or 9–12 years of broader engineering experience.
• Proven ability to resolve design issues independently and collaboratively.
