Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

About the role

Our engineering team is seeking a proactive Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to bridge software development and operations. You will apply software engineering principles to automate tasks, scale infrastructure, and ensure high availability and performance of our production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments, configuration management, and repetitive operational tasks.
• Implement robust logging, monitoring, and alerting systems with Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
• Establish and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs).
• Respond to production incidents, lead troubleshooting, and conduct blameless post‑mortems.
• Partner with software developers to optimise system performance and plan capacity.
• Ensure services can scale to handle growth and traffic spikes.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in systems administration, DevOps, or systems‑focused software development.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, Bash, Go, or Rust.
• Experience with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerisation tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix administration and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/SSL/TLS).
• Passion for automation, eliminating toil, and building resilient systems.
• Advanced proficiency in English (C1+).
