Software Engineer (Rust) – Build Scalable FinTech Services

About the role

Payward Services is building an enterprise infrastructure platform that unifies trading, payments, funding and digital‑asset services for fintechs, banks and brokerages. As a Software Engineer you will create and scale the core Rust services that power this platform, ensuring reliability, performance and security at massive scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑performance Rust services and libraries that support trading, payments and crypto workflows.
• Write reusable, testable and efficient code that can be leveraged across multiple product teams.
• Collaborate on the architecture of large‑scale distributed systems, translating product requirements into low‑latency, resilient solutions.
• Debug and resolve issues across the full stack, including operating system, network and application layers.
• Work closely with product managers and engineers to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet security and compliance standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience building network services or asynchronous applications.
• Security‑first mindset when designing systems.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot complex issues across OS, network and application components.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts and technologies.
