Software Technical Support Analyst

About the role

The Operate team provides Murex internal and external client technical support to restore normal operations with minimal impact on clients’ business. To support efficiently all types of critical incidents, the team has become highly skilled in collaborating cross‑functionally and working under pressure while continuously learning new skills and technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide follow‑the‑sun support on technical issues across internal, SaaS, and on‑premises clients, working diverse shifts.
• Handle client‑blocking production issues on the Mx3 platform promptly and accurately.
• Develop horizontal technical expertise across MX.3 components to ensure high‑quality support.
• Collaborate with Development, Product, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Client Services teams to resolve problems.
• Deliver operability feedback to Product teams based on incidents raised during business‑as‑usual.
• Participate in production‑readiness activities to ensure new developments are operable.
• Create support processes, troubleshooting guides, and technical talks.

Required profile

• Eager to learn the latest Murex technologies.
• Passionate about problem solving and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Ability to work under pressure in operations and support contexts.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Team player able to interact with colleagues across regions.
• Advanced level of English is mandatory.

Required skills

• Programming: Java (C, C# and Python are a plus).
• Database: SQL query building and performance analysis (Sybase and Oracle administration a plus).
• Operating systems: Linux power‑user (Bash scripting a plus).
