Spare Parts Logistics Analyst

About the role

The Spare Parts Logistics Analyst is responsible for managing the inventory of spare parts, overseeing purchasing processes, maintaining the materials master, and coordinating with headquarters to ensure a reliable supply chain. The role combines analytical forecasting, procurement, and warehouse operations to prevent stockouts and support emergency needs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze spare parts purchases against forecasted demand and update weekly purchase analyses.
• Manage emergency purchases and coordinate potential dismantling activities.
• Process inbound shipments of spare parts and update warehouse systems.
• Adjust inventory levels and maintain accurate records.
• Provide administrative support for supplier payments and import VAT handling.
• Coordinate with the spare parts warehouse supplier on arrivals and import procedures.
• Maintain the Spare Parts Material Master and suggest sales prices according to policy.

Required profile

• Education in Logistics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration or related fields.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in purchasing vehicle parts, both nationally and internationally, including supplier negotiation, import management, inventory control, and cost analysis.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency for communication with headquarters.

Required skills

• Inventory management of thousands of SKUs.
• Strong knowledge of import processes and local customs regulations.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Dynamics 365, or similar.
