Staff Accountant – General Ledger & Reporting

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized and detail‑oriented Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records. The role involves a mix of general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and financial reporting within a collaborative finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Record and review daily financial transactions and journal entries.
• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and supporting documentation.
• Perform bank, credit‑card, and balance‑sheet account reconciliations.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice preparation and payment processing.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing activities.
• Prepare account analyses, reconciliations, and financial schedules for management reports.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in accounts and financial records.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as required.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting accuracy while maintaining confidentiality.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Staff Accountant, Accountant, or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
