Strategy Consultant – AI Training & Evaluation

About the role

Join Toloka AI’s new Management Consulting domain to translate real-world consulting engagements into structured learning environments for advanced AI systems. You will work remotely as an individual contributor, designing realistic consulting scenarios that help AI models learn high‑level business reasoning.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed project scenarios that reflect authentic consulting dynamics, including industry context, financial data, constraints, and ambiguous information.
• Design structured consulting tasks for AI agents such as market sizing, commercial due diligence, cost optimization, growth strategy, operational diagnosis, and benchmarking.
• Develop evaluation criteria, grading frameworks, and golden‑answer solutions to train and calibrate LLM‑based grading systems.
• Collaborate with the AI and data teams to ensure the consulting tasks align with the overall AI training pipeline.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on consulting experience at a top‑tier strategy firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Monitor Deloitte, EY‑Parthenon, Kearney, Strategy&).
• Proven ability to structure ambiguous client problems, build financial models or market analyses, and deliver client‑ready recommendations under tight deadlines.
• Comfort presenting and defending recommendations in uncertain environments.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and problem‑structuring capabilities.
• Experience with financial modeling, market analysis, and synthesis of complex data.
• Excellent written communication for creating clear deliverables and evaluation rubrics.
