Systems & DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes + On-Prem Infrastructure)

About the role

FullStackFullStack is looking for a senior Systems & DevOps Engineer to join a U.S. client’s team on a remote, project‑based basis. You will work closely with designers and engineers, ensuring the reliability and performance of on‑premise and hybrid cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Linux servers in enterprise production environments.
• Design, configure, and troubleshoot TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPNs, firewalls, and SSL/TLS.
• Manage enterprise load balancers, preferably F5 BIG‑IP.
• Maintain virtualized infrastructure, including host, cluster, and resource management.
• Handle enterprise storage solutions such as Pure Storage SAN platforms.
• Support web stack components (Apache, PHP, MySQL/MariaDB, LAMP).
• Administer NoSQL databases like Couchbase.
• Deploy and manage container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code with Terraform and Ansible.
• Work with AWS and hybrid cloud environments.
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines and developer platforms.
• Monitor systems using Grafana and Prometheus.
• Automate tasks with Bash, Python, Ansible, or similar scripting.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, systems, infrastructure, or network engineering.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed four‑year college degree.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues across systems, networks, storage, and applications.
