Systems & DevOps Engineer – Kubernetes & On‑Prem Infrastructure (Remote)

About the role

FullStackFullStack is seeking a Systems & DevOps Engineer to work remotely with U.S. clients on Kubernetes and on‑premise infrastructure projects. The role involves integrating directly into the client’s engineering team and collaborating daily with designers and engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate into the client’s team and work alongside designers and engineers on a daily basis.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, systems, infrastructure, or network engineering.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed four‑year college degree.

Required skills

• Administration of Linux servers in enterprise production environments.
• Deep knowledge of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPNs, firewalls, and SSL/TLS.
• Experience with enterprise load balancing solutions, preferably F5 BIG‑IP.
• Virtualized infrastructure management (hosts, clusters, resources).
• Enterprise storage and SAN platforms such as Pure Storage.
• Web infrastructure components: Apache, PHP, MySQL/MariaDB (LAMP stack).
• NoSQL databases: Couchbase or similar.
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code and configuration management with Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Strong background in AWS cloud and hybrid cloud environments.
• Building or supporting CI/CD pipelines and developer platforms.
• Monitoring and observability tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
• Automation scripting using Ansible, Bash, Python, or similar.
