About the role

Fortinet is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide pre‑sales technical expertise and post‑sales support for enterprise customers. The role bridges sales and engineering, helping customers understand and integrate Fortinet solutions.

Key responsibilities

Assist sales teams in qualifying leads from a technical perspective.
Serve as the primary technical resource on sales calls, explaining features, specifications, and integration options.
Act as the lead technical contact for assigned accounts after sale, collaborating with support and engineering to resolve issues.
Provide post‑sales training and guidance to customers.

Required profile

Field sales experience and technical/pre‑sales support background.
Experience administering LAN/WAN/Internet services.
Hands‑on experience with wireless technologies, site surveys, and wireless authentication.
Strong knowledge of DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP and network security concepts.
Familiarity with routing, switching, VPN, intrusion detection, anti‑virus, and related protocols.
Understanding of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, firewalls, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES.
Relevant certifications such as CCIE and CISSP.
