About the role
We are seeking a Tailings & Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design and review of tailings storage facilities, water management systems and related infrastructure for large‑scale mining projects. The role involves ensuring that all designs meet the highest safety and regulatory standards while supporting efficient project delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Design tailings storage facilities (TSF), pipelines, ponds and water treatment systems.
- Perform technical and operational reviews and audits of existing and proposed infrastructure.
- Verify compliance with dam safety standards and local regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate infrastructure solutions into overall project plans.
Required profile
- Civil Engineering degree.
- Minimum 7 years of experience designing and managing tailings and mining infrastructure.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Global Industry Standard for Tailings Management (GISTM) and relevant local regulations.
Required skills
- GISTM compliance expertise.
- Understanding of dam safety standards.
