Technical Account Manager – Public Sector (AWS)

About the role

Join Amazon Web Services as a Technical Account Manager (TAM) focused on the public sector. You will act as the principal technical advisor and voice of the customer, helping enterprise clients adopt and optimise AWS services while ensuring their environments remain healthy and cost‑effective.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support to resolve inquiries from enterprise customers regarding AWS services and cloud solutions.
• Conduct periodic operational performance reviews and present detailed analyses to customers.
• Lead technical discussions with senior leadership on incidents, trade‑offs, proactive scope and risk management.
• Collaborate with AWS global engineering and service teams to resolve complex issues.
• Maintain operational health of AWS environments while identifying opportunities to reduce cost and complexity.
• Travel 10‑25% as needed to engage with customers on‑site.
