Transmission Line Helicopter Construction Expert

About the role

We are seeking a Helicopter Construction Expert to lead the execution of power transmission line projects using helicopters in Chile. The role involves planning, coordinating and overseeing all helicopter‑based construction activities to ensure safety, compliance and productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed day‑wise and activity‑wise plans for helicopter operations, considering Chilean regulations, weather forecasts, helipad restrictions and material handling requirements.
• Manage end‑to‑end construction operations with helicopters, including schedule compliance, productivity targets, temporary helipad construction, resource allocation and coordination with stores, security and service providers.
• Control and authorize helicopter transportation, monitor helicopter flight hours, prepare payment statements and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
• Coordinate daily operations with helicopter service providers, optimise routes and procedures, and generate daily progress reports.
• Continuously improve operational efficiency and propose optimisation ideas for helicopter usage.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge of helicopter logistics and power transmission line construction.
• Proven ability to design and implement transportation procedures independently.
• Strong planning skills with experience preparing detailed operational schedules.
• Excellent spoken and written English with clear accent.
