About the role
Alstom is looking for a VTA Engineer to support the testing and commissioning of railway systems. The role will involve creating test procedures, coordinating on‑site tests and delivering clear reports to ensure successful system integration.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in the production of test procedures.
- Plan and coordinate site tests for units and system integration.
- Execute site tests and generate associated test reports.
- Report and follow up on action plans for any malfunctions during the T&C phase.
- Document system configuration during offshore and on‑site test phases.
- Maintain and develop personal expertise in railway testing.
- Implement relevant processes, methods and tools for testing activities.
Required profile
- Engineering degree (electrical or mechanical preferred).
- Minimum 3 years experience in railway test and commissioning.
- Fluent in Spanish.
- Broad knowledge of subsystems and ability to read schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for fault finding.

- Test procedure development.

- Test reporting and documentation.
