After‑Sales Engineer

About the role

The After‑Sales Engineer provides technical support and on‑site service for key client projects, ensuring equipment reliability and customer satisfaction. The role involves fault analysis, spare‑part management, and coordination with R&D and regional supervisors.

Key responsibilities

• Collect equipment fault information, including historical data and recordings, and report to the regional supervisor.
• Inspect incoming goods, obtain client sign‑off on receipts, and verify quantities of replacement spare parts.
• Perform preliminary analysis of spare‑part replacements and communicate findings.
• Deliver maintenance and follow‑up support for major client projects.
• Implement R&D requirements, estimate completion times, and keep the regional supervisor informed.
• Forecast on‑site spare‑part demand three months in advance and report forecasts.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics or related fields.
• Experience in the photovoltaic (PV) industry, equipment after‑sales service, and on‑site operations.
• Willingness to travel frequently and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong problem‑solving dedication.
