AI Accounting Operations Sr. Manager

About the role

This senior role is focused on transforming accounting and operational finance processes through AI‑driven automation, data insights, and emerging generative AI capabilities. Based in Chile, the manager will act as a key enabler for building AI‑native workflows that improve efficiency, accuracy, and decision‑making across finance and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the subject‑matter expert for applied AI across finance, accounting, and operational teams.
• Lead AI enablement initiatives, including training programs, workshops, office hours, and skill‑development for business users.
• Create reusable AI resources such as prompt libraries, workflow templates, and best‑practice documentation.
• Establish responsible AI frameworks, quality controls, governance processes, and documentation standards.
• Identify automation opportunities across accounting processes including financial close, accounts payable, reconciliations, reporting, and audit support.
• Build and deploy AI‑powered workflows that reduce manual effort while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and internal controls.
• Expand AI automation into operational areas such as cash reconciliation, inventory management, and fixed‑asset accounting.
• Improve forecasting, financial modeling, scenario analysis, and management reporting through AI‑enhanced solutions.
• Partner with finance and operations stakeholders to identify AI opportunities that deliver measurable business value.
• Track adoption, productivity improvements, and return on investment from implemented solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, automation, finance technology, or related fields with demonstrated delivery experience.
• Strong expertise with generative AI and large language models, including prompt engineering and AI workflow design.
• Deep understanding of finance and accounting processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
