Airport Site Manager (Onsite)

About the role

The Airport Site Manager will lead on‑site operations for a major international airport in Santiago, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of technology services. This 24/7 role requires direct engagement with airport stakeholders, rapid incident response, and continuous improvement of service performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all airport technology services, meeting SLAs, KPIs, and contractual commitments.
• Serve as primary contact for airlines, airport authorities, vendors, and internal teams.
• Provide 24/7 escalation support, lead major incident response, and coordinate technical resources.
• Manage the on‑site technical team: recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, performance, training, and succession planning.
• Control operational budgets, forecasting, procurement, inventory, and asset utilization.
• Supervise installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and upgrades of systems such as FIDS, CUPPS, CUSS, and SBD.
• Monitor performance metrics, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead risk management, business continuity planning, root‑cause analysis, and recovery activities.
• Coordinate changes, maintenance, service requests, projects, and escalations with all stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex airport or similar 24/7 technology environments.
• Strong leadership and team‑development capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to make critical operational decisions under pressure.
• Knowledge of local labor regulations and compliance requirements.
