Azure Data Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an Azure Data Engineer to design, build and maintain high‑performance data pipelines within the Microsoft cloud ecosystem. The role focuses on turning raw data into actionable insights for our global clients while ensuring scalability, reliability and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage end‑to‑end data integration pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
• Develop scalable data architectures with Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric.
• Write and optimise complex SQL queries and Python scripts for data transformation.
• Orchestrate data workflows to deliver analytics‑ready datasets.
• Apply best practices for data modelling and storage to support Power BI reporting.
• Monitor platform performance, tune workloads and enforce data security standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering.
• Proven track record building and optimising pipelines with Azure Data Factory and Synapse Analytics.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL within the Microsoft data stack.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI integration.
• Deep understanding of data modelling, ETL/ELT patterns and cloud‑native architecture.
• Advanced English communication skills.
