Business Controller

About the role

As a Business Controller you will support the financial performance of Volvo Trucks Chile by turning data into actionable insights and partnering with business leaders. You will ensure accurate financial planning, reporting and performance management while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial reports, identify trends, risks and opportunities, and recommend actions to improve performance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and monthly closing processes, performing variance analysis.
• Monitor and report key business and financial performance indicators for timely decision‑making.
• Provide financial support for business cases, investment evaluations and strategic projects.
• Ensure compliance with Volvo Group financial policies, internal controls and reporting requirements.
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver financial guidance for operational and strategic decisions.
• Contribute to process‑improvement initiatives within Business Control and across the organisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Business Control, FP&A, Controlling or related finance roles.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial data into business insights.
• Fluent in Spanish and English with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
