Business Development Manager - BESS / Solar

About the role

Huawei Technologies is seeking a Business Development Manager specialized in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Solar solutions to drive growth in the Chilean market. Based in Santiago, you will lead customer development and manage sales projects for non‑North America customers, ensuring market and revenue targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage sales pipelines for inverter and transformer station solutions targeting PMGD and C&I customers.
• Identify customer pain points, requirements and business strategies, proposing Huawei’s BESS and solar offerings to address them.
• Lead project management activities from opportunity identification through contract closure.
• Conduct technical and strategic discussions with decision‑makers, defining clear objectives and success criteria.
• Monitor solar industry trends, define market strategies for PMGD and C&I segments, and execute sales plans efficiently.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling inverters and transformer stations in the PMGD and C&I markets.
• Knowledge of BESS solutions is a strong advantage.
• Advanced level of English.
