Business Development Senior Associate

About the role

Aurora, a leader in energy market forecasts and advisory services, is looking for a Business Development Senior Associate to join its Santiago office. You will sell subscription‑based products and services that support the transition to a more sustainable energy future, working within a multinational LATAM sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify and research potential clients across assigned markets or segments.
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline data in the CRM (Salesforce) and ensure timely updates.
• Prepare client‑facing materials such as presentations, proposals and briefing notes under senior guidance.
• Conduct market and company research to inform outreach strategies and client discussions.
• Coordinate introductory calls, demos and follow‑up meetings with prospects.
• Track and report on sales activities, lead progress and conversion metrics.
• Collaborate with marketing, product and research teams to align messaging and value proposition.
• Support client onboarding and handover once deals are closed.
• Assist the research team with long‑term market outlooks and analysis when appropriate.

Required profile

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong commercial mindset with creativity and intuition for high‑impact opportunities.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle uncertainty.
• Excellent organization, persistence and diligence.
• Motivation to achieve individual and team commercial targets.
• Effective communication and collaboration with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
