Buyer – Procurement Operations

About the role

Fluence is seeking an experienced Buyer to manage end‑to‑end procurement of direct materials and support global supply chain operations. The role involves close collaboration with suppliers, logistics teams and internal stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted material flow.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities for direct materials, creating and modifying purchase orders in SAP.
• Handle Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) processes, coordinating with finance and vendors to reconcile invoices.
• Coordinate with global suppliers, oversee onboarding, compliance documentation and performance tracking.
• Collaborate with logistics teams to monitor shipments, resolve delivery issues and ensure timely material movement.
• Analyze procurement and supply‑chain data, prepare dashboards and KPI reports, and support cost‑control initiatives.
• Work cross‑functionally with Planning, Manufacturing, Finance, Quality and Logistics to improve procurement processes.

• Advanced Excel for reporting and data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
