Commercial and Marketing Specialist – Southern Cone

About the role

The Commercial and Marketing Specialist will support the execution of commercial and marketing initiatives across the Southern Cone (Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Peru). Working closely with distributors and key customers, the role strengthens CooperVision’s local presence, drives business growth, and ensures alignment with regional strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Support the rollout of commercial and marketing plans in each assigned market.
• Maintain regular communication with distributors and key customers, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Prepare and deliver product, commercial, and marketing presentations.
• Coordinate adaptation, localization, and production of marketing materials following regional brand guidelines.
• Identify and manage local marketing vendors, negotiate quotations, and oversee quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
• Organize and follow up on local customer events, ensuring compliance with brand standards and budget.
• Gather market feedback and relay insights to regional teams.
• Collaborate with internal functions (Customer Service, Logistics, RAQA, Finance) to support customer needs.

Required profile

• Strong customer and commercial orientation.
• Ability to build effective relationships with distributors, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Results‑oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple markets simultaneously.
• Strong organizational, follow‑up, and negotiation abilities.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CRM tools.
