Commercial Contracts Manager (North America)

About the role

Genesys is seeking a Commercial Contracts Manager to own the full lifecycle of commercial agreements across North America. This individual contributor role partners with Sales, Legal, Privacy, Security and Finance to accelerate deal velocity while ensuring disciplined risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Intake, triage and prioritize commercial legal requests to align with business objectives.
• Review, negotiate and finalize routine agreements such as NDAs, order forms, amendments and low‑to‑moderate risk customer contracts.
• Drive adoption of standard templates and playbooks to ensure consistency and efficient deal execution.
• Identify contractual risks and implement balanced solutions that meet legal and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Deal Desk, Privacy, Security and Legal stakeholders across North America and globally to resolve contractual challenges.
• Improve contracting workflows, templates, guidance notes and self‑service tools to increase scalability and reduce cycle times.
• Escalate complex or non‑standard issues to legal counsel while independently handling routine matters.
• Track contract lifecycle metrics, support reporting and contribute operational insights.

Required profile

• Individual contributor with no people‑management responsibilities.
• Proven experience managing the end‑to‑end lifecycle of commercial contracts.
• Strong ability to partner with cross‑functional teams (Sales, Legal, Finance, Privacy, Security).
• Solid understanding of risk management and compliance in contract negotiations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
