Commercial Contracts Manager – North America

About the role

Genesys is looking for a Commercial Contracts Manager to own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of commercial agreements across North America. This individual contributor role partners with Sales, Legal, Privacy, Security, and Finance to accelerate deal velocity while protecting the business through disciplined risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Intake, triage, and prioritize commercial legal requests to ensure timely progression.
• Review, negotiate, and finalize routine agreements such as NDAs, order forms, amendments, and low‑to‑moderate risk customer contracts.
• Drive adoption of standard templates and playbooks to improve consistency and execution speed.
• Identify contractual risks and propose balanced solutions that meet business and compliance goals.
• Collaborate with Sales, Deal Desk, Privacy, Security, and Legal stakeholders to align on deal strategy and resolve challenges.
• Enhance contracting workflows, templates, guidance notes, and self‑service tools to increase scalability and reduce cycle times.
• Escalate complex or non‑standard issues to legal counsel while independently handling routine matters.
• Track contract lifecycle metrics, support reporting, and contribute operational insights.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing the full lifecycle of commercial contracts in a B2B environment.
• Strong ability to balance business objectives with legal and compliance requirements.
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams, especially Sales and Legal.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on process improvement and risk mitigation.
